Zelensky Announces Cabinet Update, Sviridenko May Resign

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced an update to the Cabinet of Ministers and the leadership of law enforcement agencies. He proposed Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko to head a new international direction, which may indicate her resignation from the position of head of government. Zelensky discussed the upcoming changes with Sviridenko and noted that the implementation of the updated strategy requires a reformatting of the government. The president expressed hope for support from the Verkhovna Rada in personnel changes. He also emphasized the need to change the approach to working with international partners, highlighting cooperation with the United States and security projects. Among the priorities is also deepening ties with the EU and reassessing relations with neighboring countries, including Poland and Hungary. Domestic policy will also undergo changes, including strengthening work in frontline areas and preparing for winter. Zelensky also noted the need to accelerate the transformation of state-owned companies and fulfill agreements with partners.
