WaveBridge Partners with Gito Foundation for Digital Asset Products

WaveBridge has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gito Foundation. The two parties will jointly review the structural design of institutional digital asset products based on GitoSOL and the feasibility of domestic introduction. GitoSOL is a liquidity staking token that allows staking of SOL while being transferable, with over 14 million SOL deposited. Nasdaq in the United States has submitted a listing proposal for an ETF based on GitoSOL to the SEC, while in Europe, 21Shares has launched a Solana ETP based on Gito staking. WaveBridge will be responsible for asset custody and product structuring support, while the Gito Foundation will provide technical documentation and expertise in staking mechanisms. The actual issuance of products will depend on the progress of domestic institutionalization. WaveBridge and the Gito Foundation are preparing a joint report to coincide with Korea Blockchain Week 2026. The report will cover domestic digital asset ETFs and related products. Mark Liu, the Asia-Pacific head of the Gito Foundation, mentioned the lack of verified infrastructure in Korea and evaluated WaveBridge as the optimal partner. Oh Jong-wook, CEO of WaveBridge, emphasized the increasing demand for digital assets in Korea and the necessity for infrastructure.
