Trump: Musk had a 'stupid time' earlier this year, but I've always liked him
BlockBeats News, October 28th, Trump said on Monday that despite Musk's "foolish moment" earlier this year, he has a "good" relationship with the world's richest man.
He also revealed that since they were seen talking at Charlie Kirk's memorial service in September, he has had "intermittent chats" with Musk. "I like Elon, I always have," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on his way from Malaysia to Japan.
Regarding the public heated dispute between the two in June, Trump believes that "he (Musk) was not in a good state at that time, he went through a bad period. It was just a moment of confusion, just a foolish moment in his life, very foolish. I'm sure he would tell you that himself. But I like Elon, and I think I always will."
Since this summer, Musk has largely toned down his criticism of Trump and has also rarely mentioned his earlier plans to form a new third party after Trump's massive bill passed. (Jinshi)
