Testing of Adjustment Acts for e-TTN Launched
The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine has expanded the functionality of the state system of electronic goods transport invoices (e-TTN) by opening access to the testing of adjustment acts. This innovation allows for the processing of logistics operations in electronic form and reduces the use of paper documents. Senders, carriers, and recipients of cargo can record changes that occur during transportation, including adjustments to the route, technical or quantitative characteristics of the cargo, as well as financial or organizational conditions of delivery. Deputy Minister Sergey Derkach noted that the digitization of invoices increases the competitiveness of businesses and the transparency of the industry. Each transportation confirmed by an electronic document protects companies from malfeasance and allows the state to see the real picture of cargo flows. The Ministry is also developing legislative changes for the mandatory use of e-TTN in Ukraine and recommends that carriers, shippers, and consignees participate in testing new digital tools.
