Phantom will cease support for the Monad network on Aug. 26, following its mainnet launch in November 2025. Users will be notified in-app with options to move or swap their Monad-native assets. Monad assets will remain accessible post-cutoff, allowing users to import their recovery phrases into other compatible wallets. Monad's announcement indicated that Phantom support ends on Aug. 12, urging users to migrate to other EVM wallets. Monad co-founder Keone Hon stated that Phantom's decision is aimed at focusing on its core business. He directed users to alternatives like MetaMask, which has been integrating Monad since June and is covering gas fees for users. Phantom recently added Robinhood Chain to its app, indicating a shift in priorities. MON token trades at 0.0205, down 1.3% in 24 hours and 9.3% over the week, with a market cap of 242 million. Monad's DeFi total value locked is 784.5 million, up 5.3% in the past day.
