AI data security company Cyera has signed a letter of intent to acquire Oasis Security for approximately $1 billion, with the transaction primarily paid in cash and the remainder in Cyera shares. Recently, Cyera completed a $600 million financing round at a valuation of $12 billion. Founded in 2022, Oasis focuses on non-human identity security, such as AI agents, and has raised approximately $195 million in total funding, with investors including Accel, Craft Ventures, and Cyberstarts. Cyera shares some investors with Oasis and has recently acquired Ryft and Genie Security, planning to integrate Oasis's technology into a unified identity and data security platform. Cyera has an annual recurring revenue of over $150 million but is not yet profitable, having raised about $2.3 billion in total funding over five years.
